Christmas Calypso

Eastern Kings are a-riding far,
Guided by a wondrous star,
What a glorious wond-rous sight.
In their robes so rich and bright.
Jesus Baby in a manger laid,
Sweetly sings the gentle maid,
Joseph standing looking in
As the Kings come riding by.

See them a-bending down so low,
What is it they seem to know?
Is the Baby a prince or King?
What can mean the gifts they bring?

Christmas Calypso

Jesus Baby in a manger laid,
Sweetly sings the gentle maid,
Joseph standing looking in,
As the Kings come riding by.
Gold and Frank-in-cense and Myrrh
For this Baby they do confer,
Oh see He is a-smiling now
As the Kings bend low to bow.

Jesus Baby in a manger laid,
Sweetly sings the gentle maid.
Joseph standing looking on
As Kings depart and ride away
